CAROLS AT THE DOOR
A traditional Christmas wall art print capturing a group of carolers singing outside a warmly decorated townhouse on a snowy winter evening.
At the centre, four singers gather beneath the glow of an old street lantern.
Two women wear richly detailed red and deep green winter dresses trimmed with cream fur, while two men stand behind them in dark formal coats and tall hats.
Each holds a printed song booklet as they sing together in the falling snow.
Around them, the entire street is dressed for Christmas:
· evergreen garlands
· red velvet bows
· holly and winter berries
· glowing gaslight-style lanterns
· wreaths on doors and windows
· snow-covered stone steps
· illuminated Christmas trees
· warm windows against the winter blue
Beyond the doorway, the scene opens into a complete snowy town.
Traditional houses line the street beneath fresh snow, while a church spire rises in the distance and mountain slopes disappear into the evening light.
The palette combines:
· deep Christmas red
· forest green
· antique gold
· cream
· snow white
· winter blue
· warm lantern amber
The contrast between the cold snow and the golden street lights gives the artwork its atmosphere.
Unlike a simple Christmas quote print, this piece tells a complete holiday story — singers at the door, a decorated street, falling snow and an entire village celebrating behind them.
