BESTIARY OF STONE — FIVE GUARDIANS
Five carved beasts rise above the cathedral stonework at golden hour, each one different enough to feel as though it belongs to its own page of an old bestiary.
At the highest point sits a winged lion, mane and wings catching the last amber light.
Below it, the group expands into a full catalogue of carved creatures:
· a horned dragon-like beast with bat wings
· a griffin with an eagle head, feathered wings and feline body
· a heavy horned grotesque crouched low over the stone
· a long-tailed dragon with folded wings
· the central winged lion above them all
Ivy and creeper work their way through the masonry, softening the carved stone and adding age to the composition.
A fleur-de-lis shield sits on the central plinth, while cathedral spires rise behind the figures into a sky of amber, ochre and storm-grey cloud.
The light is the key difference.
Instead of placing the creatures in a cold night scene, the entire group is caught at sunset, with warm edges of gold across weathered stone, wings, claws and carved detail.

Please check your delivery address carefully and contact us within 6 hours if a correction is needed.
Cancellations and returns
We accept cancellation requests within 6 hours of purchase. For eligible physical items, contact us and send the item back within 14 days of delivery. Please message us first for return instructions and the correct return address; do not send returns to the address on the parcel without confirmation. Buyers pay return shipping and are responsible for any loss in value if an item is not returned in its original condition. We do not offer exchanges. Digital purchases follow the terms shown in their listings.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please contact us through Etsy as soon as you notice an issue. Include your order number, a clear photo of the item, and photos of the packaging and shipping label. Keep the item and packaging while we review the problem with our production partner and arrange the appropriate solution. You do not need to place a second order to report a problem.
